Magnetic Ideals Academy for PhDs and ECRs

Inspirational courses for PhD Students and ECRs. Build your confidence, love your research, change the world! Standing against precarity and for open access!

The Magnetic Ideals Academy is run by a group of researchers who believe that doing a PhD and being an Early Career Researcher should not be a lonely, isolating or traumatic experience. We are offering a series of workshops and engagements that aim to be nourishing, connecting and informative. These sessions offer support we know would have made a great deal of difference to us, and we hope they will make a difference to you!

We offer lower rates for unfunded and independent researchers, and also run a limited bursary scheme to support those who would otherwise be unable to attend for all of our course where possible. Our 2023 calender of events will be announced shortly.
