Creative Circle Space: Free monthly creative and wellbeing sessions in Lewes

Flyer for Creative Circle Space

Creative Circle Space is a new free monthly gathering for migrants, asylum seekers and refugees in Lewes and the surrounding areas.

Taking place at Lewes House of Friendship, the sessions offer a friendly and safe space to meet other people, create, talk and connect.

Each morning will include a mixture of creative activities, sharing and conversation, simple meditation and activities to support wellbeing. There’s no need to have any previous creative or meditation experience, and all materials are provided.

The sessions are led by Inclusive Artist Layla Hignell-Tully and Wellness Coach Natasha Albeer. The morning begins gently with a cup of tea and an introduction, followed by snacks, conversation and a creative activity, before finishing with circle time and sharing.

Dates: Monday 12 October, 9 November, 7 December and 11 January
Time: 10.30am–12.30pm
Venue: Lewes House of Friendship, 208 Lewes High Street, BN7 2NS

Travel and parking bursaries are available for anyone who needs support getting to the sessions.

Creative Circle Space is funded by Mind in Brighton and Hove and provided by Magnetic Ideals.

The aim is simply to provide a warm, accessible space to meet, create and connect — and everyone in the intended community is very welcome.
